Assistant Store Manager

Assistant Store manager required for a Retail company in North Dublin.

The ideal candidate will (among other things):

– have a minimum of 5 years previous experience as a store supervisor, assistant store manager or as a store manager in a retail store preferably in Ireland or the UK.
– have excellent communication and organisational skills.
– be trustworthy.
– be customer focused and have a good understanding of your customer needs and requirements.
– be responsible for opening and closing of the store and cash handling.
– have a proven track record in reaching and exceeding sales targets.
– have a knowledge of KPI’s and how to set and achieve these.
– be responsible for stock levels and stock taking as well as the management of the stockroom area of the store.
– be analytic and capable of interpreting trends by keeping an eye on the market.
– be business minded by always looking at ways of improving the stores performance.
– be a good team leader with excellent staff management and motivational skills.
– have the ability to delegate and see that tasks are carried out in a timely and safe manner.
– ensure that you are familiar with all HR and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
– ensure the health and safety of your staff and visitors to the store at all times.
– uphold the company’s values at all times.
