Warehouse Manager required

Warehouse Manager required for a company based in west Dublin.

The ideal candidate will (among other things):

  • have a warehouse background with previous warehouse roles, ideally progressing from supervisory into management.
  • drive warehouse and logistics economics by developing and managing cost-reduction initiatives.
  • have a minimum of 5 years experience as a warehouse manager in Ireland, the UK or the EU with fast moving goods.
  • have excellent organisational skills and a can do attitude.
  • ensure all health and safety procedures are followed, and ensure the health and safety of all staff, customers and visitors to the warehouse at all times
  • have an excellent knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chains and logistics.
  • be competent in stock control and inventory management.
  • have excellent leadership skills and people management skills.
  • remain current with the latest warehouse operations technology systems and procedures.
  • have a working knowledge of best-in-class logistics and supply chain practices.
  • be energetic, enthusiastic and lead by example.
  • have warehouse systems and ERP experience.
  • perform day-to-day administrative tasks, spend approvals and customer reports.
  • ensure that KPI’s are reached to measure and control the effectiveness of warehouse operations.
  • coach, train, manage, and appraise the performance of warehouse and management personnel.
  • develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with warehouse and logistic staff and senior management.
